the juxtapsition in this one is very sharp and linear; it progresses nicely: doves - heart -hope -bell

much love...

Again,
__I thank you all... your goodness!

__This senryu... is a minimal reflection of a story entitled "The
Village of Lack," as written by Holly Lourent This is my view, is a summery of that story.
*
__The people in "The Village of Lack" were hateful and soured by the fear of life... that hate, within each, had overtaken their thoughts of love.
__A young girl named "Likely" knew the people of "Lack" held the capacity of good, or God, and that... they could recover that good and God, and erase their evil hate, by looking into themselves as they looked into each other. By talking with each other and sharing their inner senses, each could overcome their Satan.
__"The Village of Lack," declined
"Likely's" attempts to draw the village into a new civility... but then, "Likely" found the bell rope
and began to pull and pull, and pull! The bell's magic called the people to speak from their hearts and offer their hope to themselves and all. They gathered as doves.
